Complete Civil and Mining Solutions (CCMS) was approached by Multiplant to collaborate on their endeavours at the Greenbushes Mine site. Multiplant sought assistance in extending the on-site mining camp facilities, entrusting CCMS with equipment rental and expert labour support to ensure the seamless execution of their project.
Expanding mining operations through the extension of the site.
Armed with a fleet of high-quality equipment, CCMS dispatched a team of experts to the Greenbushes mine site to undertake various operations aimed at expanding and enhancing current activities. The primary objective was to enlarge the scope and capacity of operations at the site.
To achieve this, CCMS initiated topsoil removal operations using a combination of excavators, dump trucks, and loaders from their own inventory. This process involved the systematic removal of the uppermost layer of soil to facilitate the commencement of mining activities.
Subsequently, CCMS engaged in mixing and conditioning operations to optimise the characteristics of materials for further processing. This step aimed to ensure uniformity and enhance the material’s response to subsequent extraction techniques, thereby improving operational efficiency.
Moreover, CCMS undertook drainage work to facilitate the proper and sustainable evacuation of debris and waste generated during mining operations.
With a commitment to environmental sustainability, CCMS implemented solutions to safeguard the terrain and facilitate future rehabilitation efforts.
Recognising the need for additional space to accommodate Multiplant’s equipment fleet, CCMS also contributed to extending the carpark facilities while adhering to regulations and prioritising the safety of personnel and operators.
Furthermore, CCMS assisted Multiplant in implementing a GPS trimming system on their graders, enabling precise and efficient grading operations to level the ground surface accurately.
In total, a team of 8 CCMS members and 6 machinery units were deployed to execute these operations. Within a span of 90 days, the project was successfully completed, delivering quality work to Multiplant within the designated time and budget constraints.
