Past Projects
Nickol bay Quarry Holicim
- Using Millisecond Nonel delays we minimised vibration without sacrificing fragmentation.
- Due to the location of the project we performed vibration, noise and dust monitoring.
Roy hill rail project
- Nonel precision was utilised with 0 misfires across the project.
- On a tight timeline project we kept on target and always stayed in front of the load and haulage process.
Nullagine Gold project
- We safely and successfully brought down 8 hills through contour drilling and blasting with 0 incidents or accidents to personnel or machinery.
Blasting in access roads to Cape preston
- To optimise the project cost we were able to design around drill capabilities for single pass plus cheater bar.
- We used detonating cord to reduce costs, achieving excellent results thanks to precise quality control during both the drilling and hole loading processes.
Iron Knob Mine site
- Iron Knob was the first mine site opened by BHP in 1899 and is still in operation to this day. Due to the location of the mine site and where the town of Iron Knob sits to continue Drill and Blast cut back works we had to be precise with designs and utilised High precision GPS in the Drill Rigs and utilised electronic detonators as well as panel blasting techniques which was a huge success.
Mt Keith Mine
- Due to the Immense depth of this pit and how old it is we had to implement depressurisation drilling to ease the back pressure behind the wall design from historically poor practices and then reimplanted presplitting practices to ensure wall stability and safety for any and all working within the area. We also performed cost saving solutions for the implementation of this project.
